FAQ

How should barefoot shoes fit?

Your toes should have room to spread naturally without feeling compressed. For our closed styles, we generally recommend around 8–10 mm of extra length in front of your longest toe. Fit can also vary depending on your foot shape and width.

What does zero drop mean?

Zero drop means your heel and forefoot sit at the same level, without an elevated heel. Some PERALBA styles feature a visible heel detail as part of the design, but it is integrated into the sole and does not create a height difference between heel and forefoot.

What makes PERALBA barefoot?

Our shoes are built around the essentials of barefoot design: a foot-shaped last, a flexible sole and zero drop. There is no rigid support shaping the foot, allowing it to move more naturally while keeping the aesthetic of a contemporary shoe.
